On November 5 we rounded up four Transalp riders from around the San Francisco Bay Area for a "spin around the block". We didn't really do a lot of miles but it was fun to meet and ride for a bit.

We met at a place called Beeb's, next to the airport in Livermore. |

We were all very jealous of Clyde's license plate cover. I guess he earned that title of "Iron Butt"!

After about 50 miles on Mines Road, we stopped at this cafe half-way
Livermore and Mt. Hamilton.
Paul tried to flee the scene but I just caught him on the left. He drove this '87 with an '89 engine. |

Next to his license plate cover, we were also very jealous of the condition of Clyde's bike. Just look at it! It looks like he just drove this '90 TA out of the showroom the same morning.

Of course I had to take a picture of myself, using the tripod and the timer. But the guys teased me and I wasn't 'ready' when the camera went "click".....

This cafe is a very popular meeting place for motorcyclists. We got comments that they never saw this many TA's together in one place (in California). |

The last two shots were taken on top of Mt. Hamilton, at the Lick observatory. It was a fun day with beautiful weather. We're gonna do this again!! |
